You can configure your StarBook Ultra with the keyboards listed. All Linux distributions we offer pre-installed will prompt you to select your input language the first time you turn it on. You can also change this in the future from the Settings window. Currently, we aren't able to offer any additional or custom layouts. Please subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when new options are available.
Memory
32GB (2 x 16GB)
Your StarBook Ultra will come with 32GB (2 x 16GB) by default. You can upgrade this to 96GB (2 x 48GB). You can upgrade or replace the memory whenever you want as it is removable.
Storage
TCG Opal hardware encryption supported
1TB
Your StarBook Ultra will come with 1TB by default. You can configure it with 4TB, giving you more storage capacity and faster performance. All storage options for this model support TCG Opal hardware encryption. TCG Opal is the standard used by self-encrypting drives, allowing encryption features to be handled by the SSD itself rather than only in software. One practical advantage is that it can be enabled or disabled without needing to reinstall the operating system. For most users, that means better storage-security options. For organisations, it also improves compatibility with enterprise deployment and device-management workflows. You can upgrade or replace the SSD; this requires a small Philips screwdriver.
